Never one to like being photographed, I figured out long ago that i wanted to be the guy behind the camera, and not in front of it. My love (beside my wife Susan, my kids & grandsons) is taking nature and landscape photography. I think that taking photos allows us to capture a moment, and relive it whenever we view the picture.

Living in Franklin N.C., on the southern side of the Smoky Mountains, I have an abundance of beautiful places to go to take advantage of natures ever changing mountains, streams, waterfalls and plants as well as the wildlife that live there (bears, deer, and the occasional beer).

Susan finally talked me into taking the leap of pursuing photography more as a career vs just a hobby. Let the adventure begin, I guess you never know until you try.
